Oli is on the move – moving back from Japan to Stratford-upon-Avon

Unity 3d is an exciting, expanding company and they recently asked us to help move one of their latest recruits and find him a new home in Stratford-upon-Avon. On his return home from Japan and following a short break in Hampshire with his parents Oli was set and and ready to move to Stratford-upon-Avon. He wanted to move into 1 bedroom flat close to the centre of town but within an easy bike ride to the office in Atherstone-on-Stour. We found a number of great properties, a few he discounted but otherwise liked them all. As, is so often the case each one had a few minor niggles or drawback such as parking, bike storage, lack of shower, etc.

We love our job and the best part is finding homes in London or the South East for our clients. Having carried out the initial research, pre-viewed the properties and then fine honed the search we find the most rewarding part of the search is meeting and then spending the day with our clients viewing the selected properties. It is the idea that we are going on a new exciting journey with each and every client that, fortunately for us, does invariably have a fairy tale ending which is finding them the home of their dreams.

Canada to London for a shorter commute to Saudia Arabia!

Schooling was the key concern for our clients moving from Canada to London. Our brief was carry out property searches South of the Thames in order to find a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with 24 hour concierge service, in-house swimming pool, gym facilities and parking. The family wanted it to be within a 20 minute driving commute to their son’s school in Lambeth. We focused on apartment blocks such as St George Wharf, Vauxhall,  Embassy Gardens, the Riverlight Apartments in Nine Elms and Battersea Reach next to the Battersea Power Station Development all of which provided everything our client desired. Our task was to find an apartment in one of these developments that met their budgetary requirements. After pre-viewing numerous apartments in each of these developments we found a beautiful duplex apartment in Embassy Gardens. This more than fulfilled all their expectations and Mother and son will be moving over this month. Her husband will be moving over at the same time and then be dividing his time between his job in Saudi and his family in London.

Cambridge to Brighton

Moving a lovely young couple and their two cats from Cambridge to Brighton. Property Searches in Brighton are always challenging particularly as we were tasked with finding an apartment that would allow not just one cat but two.  This is not as easy as one might expect as many apartment blocks have clauses in their head lease which state that pets are not allowed. Independent Landlords are often not keen to take pets either. Thus after a few disappointments due to speed at which property moves in Brighton we found a lovely one bed apartment with a pretty small garden and on street parking. They will be taking up their tenancy and will also be moving in at the end of May just in time to start work at the beginning of June.
