Moving from Hong Kong to Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Roy and Katrina and their two young children had already chosen Tunbridge Wells as their chosen place to live as they have good friends in the area. Having spent several years living in a large apartment in Hong Kong they decided they wanted to find a small, cozy family home that was close to town, the station and good local schools. With this in mind Anji and I set about the search, finding a number of homes that we thought would work for them. Thanks to our contacts in the property world we were advised about the house they chose as it had just come on the market on the very same same day we were showing Roy the houses we had pre-viewed prior to his arrival. Of course it was this house that Rory fell in love with, situated right in the heart of Tunbridge Wells with the park at one end and Hooper’s Department store at the other end of the road. The station is also a stone’s throw away. It ticked all their boxes so what more could they ask for? It was a bit of a risk for Roy though as a decision had to be made quickly to secure the property and place a holding deposit. This meant that Katrina would not be able to visit the property beforehand and was only able to view photographs. However, she was happy with how the house looked and they decided to proceed.
Fortunately Katrina and their gorgeous children were very happy with Roy’s decision when they moved into the house just a couple of weeks later.
We wish them all the best in their new home and will be taking them on an orientation tour of the town and surrounds as soon as they have time to fit it into their busy schedules.
