Neena and Ginger are moving on.
A few years ago we put our home finding skills to good use and found a wonderful flat in a converted Country House in Oxted, Surrey for our client Neena and her dog Ginger. Neena was moving from the USA to take up a position for Surrey NHS. Two years later Neena secured a new job in Newport on the Isle of Wight. We were thrilled to hear from Neena telling us that she was moving on and was asking us to find her a new house on the Island.
The Home Search and Orientation Tour
Having agreed a date for the home search we booked the ferry and hotel for the night and the home search began. As always properties that accept pets are harder to find but we managed to fill the day with properties of all shapes and sizes and in many different areas of the island. Our brief was to organize a schedule but incorporate an orientation tour of the island at the same time so Neena could decide which areas she liked best and work out the commute time. We started off in Wootton Bridge then onto East Cowes, followed by Cowes itself and carried onto Ryde, Shanklin and Seaview. After lunch we continued our with our schedule stopping at Godshill, Newport, Yarmouth and Freshwater.
The rental market on the Island is extremely buoyant and property moves quickly so we did too. As is so often the case the last property we viewed was the one that Neena fell in love with. A 2 bedroom apartment with amazing views just a few hundred metres from the Needles at Allum Bay. We carried on the search the next day but though Neena was tempted by a lovely house in Ryde her heart was set on the property in Allum Bay.
We spent an excellent few days with Neena and Ginger and they moved in the following week. Neena has already moved in and started her job and doggie day care for Ginger has been found.
